Salad Dressing 101

Servings 1 cup


  • ¼ cup red wine or balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil


  • In a bowl add vinegar, mustard, dried herbs, salt & pepper & whisk until combined
  • Slowly whisk in olive oil until fully combined
  • Store extra dressing in the refrigerator


• The basic formula is 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar/acid
• Experiment with different herbs, spices, vinegar, citrus juices & oils to create your own desired dressing
